Taking care of business – To make the best use of our time, you will fill out an Intake Form online or download and complete the form by hand or typing in the information. If I receive your Intake before our first session, I will have a clearer idea about your needs.
What to expect – During our first session, we will talk and identify what you want from our time together. You may not know what that is yet and need to vent about what is happening in your life that is causing you stress. We will also take care of some documents which provide you information about counseling, your rights and responsibilities, fees, confidentiality, and other important matters
Results – As time goes on and you learn new skills and practice new habits, you will start to see how changes you make are improving the quality of your life. As you learn what you can and cannot control in your life you will be developing tools for stress management, problem solving, and improving your communication skills. Whether you are concerned about work, home, relationships, or other life matters, coping better with one area tends to make the other areas less of a source of pain and anxiety.
